Lovely Y2K style color and finish, flattering on those who normally would not try wearing sparkle pink lipstick. Love the association with Audrey Hepburn. May not be the actual color but close enough to capture the look. Old fashioned lip color that does not last six hours as it is not matte, more a satin finish. Must reapply but can without a big fuss with liner. People then made a little ritual of the elegant gesture of reapplying lipstick which had its own charm. Bought two in case it will be discontinued, hard to find retail.
Lots of moisture in this tube, and the color is a subtle lavender-pink that doesn't change once on the lips. If this color looks good on you, then this is your lipstick. Just as nice as the pricier stuff--I learned my lesson that there's no sense paying for Lancome and Estee Lauder when this more reasonably priced product is available--looks just as good, wears just as well.
I LOVE this color. It's a shade if it were paint, would be called "Pink Fairy Glitter". I can NOT find any other lip color even close to this, in any brand. I used to use a shade of Chanel that was a sparkle-ish color similar to this, but they no longer make it!! Darn it all. This Syrup, you put it on and it stays on. It's not waxy, or runny or oily. It's very good, I'm impressed. I've been wearing cosmetics for almost 35 years, and I can tell you I have tried them all and I know cosmetics all from the great kinds to the drugstore brands. I could probably write a book on which products to buy that will save you money .
This is the first review I've ever written in all my years of shopping. That's how perfect this lipstick is. I'm a huge Audrey Hepburn fan and I wanted the color she applied in the back of the taxi in Breakfast At Tiffany's. After some research I orders a few different ones that ended up being no good. But, THIS IS IT!!!! Audrey Hepburn fans, or just anyone who wants a fresh natural glitter lipstick, buy this one!
